Nikaia General Hospital is a public hospital located in Athens, Greece. It is the largest hospital in Greece and the second largest hospital in the area of Balkans with 620 beds, 33 buildings, with a built area of 44,877m2. It serves more than 200,000 patients annually across its inpatient, outpatient, and emergency departments. Athens is considered a climate hotspot and the hospitals’ primary climate hazards are heatwaves and floods.
